Unlike the traditional "do it yourself" moving experience, TotalMove provides you with a Personal Relocation Manager who can help with options, choices and savings to make your move as easy and enjoyable as possible.
- How does it work?
- TotalMove has relationships with many of the nation's top providers of moving-related services, from our pre-screened broker network to mortgage and insurance partners. Based on your needs, we will introduce you to our partners and assist you with researching, contacting and coordinating the services that are right for you. TotalMove is dedicated to providing you unrivaled customer assistance throughout your move.
- Who can use TotalMove?
- Anyone who is relocating within the United States can take advantage of the benefits of TotalMove, whether you need help buying or selling a home or just want to make your move as painless as possible.
- What is a Real Estate Coordinator?
- Your Real Estate Coordinator is the specially trained professional on the other end of the phone, ready to help you through the complicated moving process. Free of charge, our Real Estate Coordinators assist you in selecting move-related products and arranging services related your home purchase and/or sale. A REC can also help you find a mortgage, home owner?s insurance and many other services best suited to your needs.
- Do I have to pay to use a Real Estate Coordinator?
- No. The assistance you receive from the Real Estate Coordinator is a free service.
- How much will my Cash Back Reward be?
- Your Cash Back Reward amount is based on the sale and/or purchase price of your house and is subject to state and local law. For further details, contact your Real Estate Coordinator or go to the Terms and Conditions page on our website.
- Who are your Partners?
- TotalMove is committed to providing you the best possible experience throughout the complicated move process. We do this by giving you access to reliable partners that specialize in move-related products and services throughout the US. Each vendor is nationally recognized and selected based on market leadership and national presence. We regularly review partner performance to ensure that you get the best possible service at all times.
- Am I obligated to purchase anything?
- No. TotalMove is an "opt-in" service where a consumer decides to use a service without obligation.
- What information do you collect?
- We only ask for information that is relevant to your move. This information will provide the Personal Relocation Manager with a clear understanding of your moving needs in order to best assist you.
- How secure will my information be?
- TotalMove uses a secure server to ensure the information you provide remains confidential and protected from unauthorized access and disclosure. See the privacy section of our website for full details.
- Will you share or sell my information?
- No. TotalMove is committed to handling your personal data with the utmost privacy and security. Your personal information will only be disclosed to vendors or authorized agents you select from the TotalMove network. We will not sell or disclose this information to any person, organization or firm that is not a part of our selected network, unless otherwise required by law or court order.
- How do I get started?

- What if I don't have an e-mail address?
- TotalMove would like to send you confirmation e-mails based on the services you have selected. If you don?t have an e-mail address, many web-based services allow you to get one for free.
- How can I update my email address?

- How does TotalMove make money?
- TotalMove makes money in two ways. For some services we charge the vendors a flat monthly fee to be a part of our network, provided they have passed our screening process. In other cases, we make money by referring customers to real estate brokers who have elected to use this element of our service. In this instance we charge the real estate broker a referral fee.

- TotalMove got started in the early 1990s in Fairfield County, Connecticut, when the service was focused on assisting insurance company and bank customers with a change of address service.
